One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as ‘America’s Walking City’. In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. The nearby seaport offers whalewatching trips and restaurants serving a Boston speciality: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modelled on the 80s sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book ‘Make Way for Ducklings’. The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

I flew in to see a hockey game and left the next morning. Didn't get to see Boston. I've been there before and it's a great city. Rich with history and lots of mass transit options to get around.
We booked the Revere because we wanted something a little more boutique-y than the usual business hotel. The rooms were quite large and well decorated. The hotel’s location was great—close to Boston’s major landmarks. We very much enjoyed drinks and appetizers on the terrace, and good restaurants were nearby. We had a good breakfast in the hotel too. We really liked Boston—clean streets, nice people, and not hordes of homeless. And you can rent a car from Enterprise right in the complex. Congrats to all!
This hotel is so fun - from the “rock and roll “ theme to the heated pool and adjacent sushi bar it’s all about a “rockin good time” the location is insanely great- next to Fenway park and MGM Theater, House of Blues and steps from the MFA Boston, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museums super location too! Staff is so friendly and helpful - rooms are comfortable and have record players with a lending library downstairs! There are luxury amenities like plush robes and great toiletries too! Impressed all the way !
This was a last-minute booking when our flight to Cincinnati was canceled due to the weather. That happened after our 9 1/2 hour flight from Rome, Italy. I just wanted someplace with a great bed that was close to the airport. I was very impressed with the quality of the room, so much so I want to find out what kind of mattresses are used. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who needs a great place to stay in Boston.
Hampton Inn Seaport is an excellent location for walking to the convention center, and easy access to downtown Boston. We walked along Summer Street to central Boston at night, about a 30 minute walk. Uber or Bus #7 are convenient for returning to the hotel from downtown. Several restaurants are nearby including Harpoon Brewing. The hotel is clean and fresh with helpful staff. Excellent breakfast each morning during our 3 day stay. We parked at Marine parking garage, an easy walk from the hotel.
Breakfast was the highlight, amazingly comfortable beds, quiet, clean, free shuttle bus service that picks you up and to the airport (and to a metro station upon request, which saved us a lot of time since the hotel is far from the center of Boston), free coffee and tea anytime of the day. We were very satisfied in general. Also we got a room upgrade which was awesome cause initially we booked a room with one double bed and a sofa bed and ended up with two double beds.
We had a lovely stay at the Colonnade. The beds where so comfortable (it may have been the best hotel bed I've ever slept on), and the rooms where spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to stay comfortably. The hotel was perfectely situated near public transport, a shopping centre and so central that we could get onto the Freeway quickly and easily. Next time we are in Boston we will definitely stay at the Colonnade again. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Great hotel comfortable place and great location in Chinatown Downtown Boston it is feel likes in college in dorm rooms sharing with other people rooms and the price is very is great and near the metro lines and buses and near restaurants I do recommend this place to stay overnight and to relax and hangout with friends and to meet new people and good breakfast they have in the kitchen dinning room and it gave laundry room and pool table
This is a brilliant hotel as a base for central Boston and was one of the few we could find on Booking.com that met our specific needs for a double room and a twin room. It's right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of the Freedom Trail, waterfront area and vibrant Italian quarter and multiple great restaurants and cafes.
Very beautiful old hotel in the most heart of Boston. Very close to Back Bay, Commons and Beacon Hill. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Hotel staff is outstanding, they are ready to address any request, very attentive and polite. Hotel hall is amazing, interior of the beginning of 20th century. Very good breakfasts in hotel restaurant.
Staff was wonderful. 😊
Best gym Ive ever had at a hotel and even had a small lap pool which was great.
Lobby is filled with beautiful fresh flowers everyday.
amazing comfortable couches and chairs to relax in with a beautiful fireplace.
Easy walk to downtown crossing/ Boston Common. -20 min walk.
Very safe location.
The views of Boston from the hotel are stunning. Rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you would need. Delightful toiletries. Gear access to airport with courtesy bus service. We also used the water taxi which was a great experience and value for money to get right into the heart of the city.
I appreciate location
1-you have shopping centre behind the hotel
2-10 minutes walk to metro station
very useful we don’t need to use a car
in boston downtown the parking is expensive and hard to found
3- private parking 20$\night
the less expensive i found
Location right on the waterfront and close to Hanover Street was excellent. We could walk to most places in central Boston.
The room was good and very comfortable. We had one meal in the hotel and that was good and well priced for a hotel.
The location is excellent for visiting all areas of Boston, particularly the historic sights, downtown, the North End and the financial district. The rooms are functional and a good size. The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need.
Best hotel I stayed in my USA trip. Big and clean rooms, amazing breakfast, nice bar service. The staff had been all the times polite and kind to us.
Amazing position. Not cheap, but it worths all the money
The location of this hotel is ideal. It is very close to the downtown Boston historical sites, including the old state building and Faneuil Hall, an easy walk to the north end and to Boston Commons.
We loved everything about our short stay! 10-15 min drive to downtown Boston. The hotel was very safe and secure, the staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great! 🙂
This hotel is in the Seaport with lots of restaurants and bars nearby and just under a half hour walk to Boston Common. Very close to the airport.
